About

I had always planned to write a blog but had never been able to decide upon what I should write about. During my pregnancy days, I realized that in a country like ours, we are too secretive about pregnancy and its effects. As a result, there are very few online resources which recount the experiences of an Indian mom-to-be.  On the other hand we have a lengthy “don’t-do” list, which is confusing and annoying…don’t tell others, don’t buy new cloths, don’t put on makeup, don’t go to the parlor, don’t travel, don't this, don't that...and on and on... along with some never ending myths. I really started wondering whether this is a time for celebration or getting bogged down by fears. It’s not a disease or illness, after all. Yes we do go through different phases of pregnancy, during which we may not feel our optimum selves at certain times, but then that is what pregnancy is all about. I would say it’s time for celebration. Celebration of womanhood?......No, rather, it’s a celebration of a wonderful experience, and being a woman you can consider yourself privileged  J

So during my pregnancy I decided Ok, I will share the experiences of my journey through pregnancy and motherhood, along with my interests in fashion, makeup, food and a little bit of everything.

P.S.: Please, please don’t consider me an expert on parenting. I am also learning and growing as a mother. J

P.P.S: Men are also allowed to read my blog ;)
