Babymoon Fourth Day evening at Palolem Goa

While we were having lunch we had decided that we would spend the evening at Draupadi. The crowd was good, ambiance attractive, though the music was nothing exceptional.  I had liked the music of “The CafĂ©” better.

The interesting part about Draupadi was that the restaurant had huge sea facing French windows and you could simply sit there and enjoy the sea..

We took mixed sea food fry as snacks, as Anu wanted to have some local beer with it. I took a few bites of it. But today I was desperately craving for something sweet. So we ordered a Banoffee Pie which had been recommended in their menu. It was sinful and I think it would have been a big mistake if we hadn't had it.

Anu was making fun of me as I had ordered dessert before the main course but I had to give in to my craving.

Some foreigners were sitting at a table in front of me. It was a family.  The husband was a middle aged man who was looking too old for his age, his wife/partner was really beautiful and the man's teenager son was also with them. On seeing the age difference between the lady and the teenager boy we decided the boy definitely wasn't the son of the lady.

After observing them for some time we noticed that the teenager boy hardly kept his mouth shut. He just talked, talked and talked. Even with a mouthful of food he had the strange ability to talk without any problem. It seemed as if he had been born with a God gifted quality of talking nonstop.
We were amused by his style, gesture and energy, suddenly Anu asked me, what I would do if we have to bear such a talkative kid. I told him that I would have to put an ice pack on my head instead of my back J

We were enjoying Greek Crepes for dinner when suddenly a chocolate cake with candles arrived for the beautiful lady sitting at the table in front. It was her B’day and the man and the boy had arranged a surprise treat. The lady was blushing with happiness and it just made her look more beautiful.

We finished the Greek crepe, but Anu was still a little hungry. So I suggested that he should take coconut lassi.

In the meantime I went to the beach for a stroll. Actually among all the good things in such restaurants, there is one disadvantage. People openly smoke as most of the restaurants have bars. So, yeah as a pregnant woman you may sometimes feel uneasy..

As I was taking in some fresh air in the beach  a British guy named Sam came over and introduced himself to me. Sam was pretty drunk and he told me that he and his friends along with some local people had lit a bonfire and they were enjoying fireworks on the beach. I saw that the bonfire was pretty close to where we were standing and Sam now wanted me to join.
I declined, as I am prego and had come with my husband.  Sam was desperate (every drunk guy is always desperate). He requested me to come with my hubby, and so I pacified him by telling that I would surely come. I was pretty confident that like all desperate drunk people he too  had a short term memory and would soon forget about me.

After that I noticed that Sam was going to almost all the tables in Draupadi where girls were sitting and requesting them to join the party.

I don’t know the rest of the story but throughout the night we were able to hear the sound of their fire crackers. I just prayed to GOD that Sam and his friends should end up in jail for disturbing the peace of such a nice place. But I don’t think it was not granted L

This much for today……
